vacation time

After a very busy summer of weddings we decided it was about time for us to take a vacation! We spent weeks discussing all the possibilities and decided it would be best to tag a trip along with a conference Jim had in northern California. We decided to start in Seattle, stay a few days there, drive to Portland, spend a few nights and then on to the redwoods and finally end up in Redding, Ca. It was amazing, relaxing and exactly what we needed. Here are some of our favorite shots from the trip. The cutest, sweetest couple. I cannot say enough about how much I have loved getting to know Ginger and Will. It is so nice to get to know a couple during engagement photos and by the end of the wedding feel like you have made two new friends. Their joy is contagious so get around these two as much as possible.

We could not have had more fun in Athens with the adorable couple Ginger and Will. Their wedding was a blast and the pictures turned out amazing. No amount rain could keep their spirits down! I couldn't to share a few so here's a preview of their day.

we love lucy

This weekend we not only got to visit with some of our best friends and shoot this adorable couples wedding (preview to come soon) but we also got to take photos of one of my best friends new baby. Baby Lucy was the sweetest girl and could not have been more fun to take photos of. As I was going back through the pictures I fell more and more in love with her adorable smile. I hope to make it back up to Athens soon to see more her soon.
